CPT Vegas Challenge: Whiskey Mike vs Daddy Warbux

The CPT Vegas Challenge will be happening all week long, starting tonight at Harrah's. Whoever wins the most money over the course of the week will be crowned champion!

The Contenders

Whiskey Mike

Strengths:
1) Vegas Experience: Mike has 3 profitable Vegas trips to his credit. He knows how to shake down the tourists on the strip.
2) Power of Whiskey: Whiskey enhances Mike’s poker playing ability. Mike will be drinking only the best whiskey, as he racks up the comps in Vegas.
3) Knows when to hold em….and also when to fold em.
4) The premier trash talker in the CPT. The tourists in Vegas do not know what to think about Mike’s antics.

Weaknesses:
1) Bluffs too much
2) Power of Whiskey takes a toll after a couple days.
3) Possibly too confident


Daddy Warbux

Strengths:
1) Poker Face: You can never tell what he has.
2) Unlimited Re-buys: Would Warbux jump to higher stakes just to gain an edge?
3) Aggression: Warbux constantly puts pressure on his opponents with HUGE bets.

Weaknesses:
1) Bluffs WAY too much
2) Vegas Inexperience: Will Warbux be able to get away from top pair when he is beat? Will he bluff all of his chips away to a tight player?
3) Tiltable: How will he handle losing a 600 dollar hand?

Cheat Sheet Returns to CPT!!!

Cheat Sheet Williams returns to the CPT this weekend for one night only! The former CPT veteran returns home from Dallas to visit this weekend. The Shark will host the game Saturday night, starting at 7:30pm. The Shark will be serving up the fish for you CPT veterans....his neighbors! The Game will be in Pinson at the Shark's house.

Warbux Takes Whiskey Mike Inventational

In one of the biggest cash games in the history of the CPT, Warbux recovers from a 2 month long tilt to take the first CPT Major of the year. The Mathematician dominated for 6 hours before losing a 3 way all-in against Whiskey Mike and Daddy Warbux. Whiskey Mike's top pair (held 8 4 off) did not hold up against Warbux's AK flush draw. This pivotal hand propelled Warbux to a narrow victory, when the cash was counted he was only 20 dollars ahead of The Shark. Also winning money were Jeff Gordon and Whiskey Mike.
